4. Contact form and email contact

If you contact Driso through the contact form or by email, the information you submit is processed to handle your request and any follow-up communication. Depending on the context, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate business communication.

The contact form on this website prepares an email message in your email program. The entered data is not stored in a website database by driso.de. The data is processed only if you send the prepared email or contact Driso directly by email.

5. Audio previews, cover images and external content

This website may display release cover images and audio previews from music and media providers such as Spotify or Apple Music. Audio is loaded only after you click Play. Your browser then connects directly to the audio provider or its content delivery network. This can transmit your IP address and request information.

Sample audio files are delivered directly from this website through Hostinger after you click Play or Download. Hostinger may process the technical request data described in section 3.

Streaming and credit links lead to external providers such as Spotify, Apple Music, Untitled, YouTube Music or Genius. Their privacy policies apply when you open those links.

6. Cookies, analytics and local storage

This website does not use analytics, marketing, or tracking cookies. The language version is selected through the page URL. The light or dark visual mode follows your system preference.

The private sample administration area uses a necessary session cookie to protect the owner login and upload forms. It does not grant access to visitors of the public sample page. Failed admin login attempts are counted using a hashed IP address and a 15-minute rate-limit window to prevent abuse.

6a. Sample downloads and optional newsletter

Sample downloads and audio previews are available without an email address, verification link or account. Downloads no longer set access cookies. The previous email access flow is disabled. Existing access data without an active newsletter subscription remains subject to the previous retention period of 180 days after the last verification; unconfirmed requests expire after 24 hours.

Newsletter subscription is optional and is not required for downloads. For existing subscriptions explicitly selected and confirmed through the email link, we store your email address, language, consent text and request and confirmation times for updates about samples, sound kits and music (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Data is retained until you unsubscribe. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by emailing driso.music@gmail.com. This does not affect sample access or the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Access data and newsletter contacts are stored securely on Hostinger hosting. Verification emails are sent through Hostinger. Contacts are not automatically shared with an additional newsletter provider.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

This Privacy Policy may be updated if legal requirements or the services used on this website change.
